Christ The King

Christ the King Church is an historically significant church listed on the State and the National Register. The church is an amazing example of low embodied energy and a striking example of the ingenuity of the first white missionaries through this part of the country. The original facility was built almost entirely from material available from the site. The original bark roof still sits under the later addition of a corrugated iron roof and the scars of the adz blade, used to mill the timbers, are still clear.
